Alien Semiotic Standard Icons by Scotch-And-Soda Alien Semiotic Standard Icons by Scotch-And-Soda
From the readme:

From the film Alien (1979) comes the 'Semiotic Standard for all commercial trans-stellar & heavy element transport craft', a Ron Cobb designed and inspired set of icons for your personal use. I've done my best to recreate Ron Cobb's symbology accurately and faithfully (discounting a couple of additions of my own), and I think any Alien fan will appreciate this package.

Package Contents:

readme.txt
/ico/ (38 .ico 256x256 files)
/png/ (38 .png 512x512 files)

Each icon is alpha masked for transparency and should be fully compatible with all versions of windows.

These are lovely! Someone else has already caught the Refrigeration error. However, I see you use two different spellings for "Pressurized." Not once but twice.

If Photoshop only had a spell checker! Good catch.

glad I found this work on twitter [although cant remember who from to give credit where its due!]

These would be great as 3 by 3 inch vinyl stickers for real world application, well done :)

Good work! I do love this a lot, but I must point out that "refrigeration" and "refrigerated" are misspelled on the poster. My other (small) criticism is that, while the .PNG files are of excellent quality, the .ICO files look like they have been compressed and produced using a limited colour palette (but maybe this is how Win7 shows them?).

Oh nice catch! I think the icons are palette limited, but I'm not sure if that had more to do with Windows 7 limitations or the limitations of my icon exporter.
